10% Discount Incentive –Terms & Conditions
At JCUVet, we’re proud to support our local community.
We offer a 10% discount on eligible veterinary services for:
Defence Force members (current and veterans)
JCU students and staff
Townsville University Hospital staff
DVA (Department of Veterans’ Affairs) clients
Eligibility
To receive the discount, clients must:
Provide valid proof of eligibility (e.g. staff ID, DVA card, student ID) at the time of consultation or payment.
Be the listed account holder or authorised representative for the patient.
Be responsible for payment at the time of service (i.e. not billed to a third party).
What the Discount Applies To
The 10% discount applies to:
Standard veterinary consultations
Routine medical and surgical services
General treatments provided directly by JCUVet (unless excluded below)
Exclusions
The discount does not apply to the following products or services, as automatically excluded by our practice software (EzyVet):
Chemotherapy (Group: Chemo): All services and products related to chemotherapy
Imaging (Product Group: Imaging): Includes CT, ultrasound, radiology, and all image interpretation fees
Compounded Medications (Group: Compounded): e.g. Bova or similar third-party compounded prescriptions
Pet Heaven Deposits (Product: Pet Heaven deposit): All cremation or aftercare deposits
Prescription diets and retail items
Lab work sent to external providers
Additional Terms
Discount must be applied at the time of payment—no retrospective discounts will be issued.
Not to be used in conjunction with other offers or promotional pricing.
Discount is non-transferable and must be used by the eligible individual for their own pets.
JCUVet reserves the right to review eligibility and change or discontinue this offer at any time.
