The Emergency and Critical Care Veterinarian is responsible for providing excellence in general practice veterinary clinical services to small animals and excellence in teaching to final year JCU veterinary students. The role promotes and maintains animal health by diagnosing and treating diseases and injury and attending to traumatic injuries and critical illnesses, determining the best treatment and advising and building relationships with clients in a general practice setting.

Working under a balanced roster of day, night, and swing shifts, you’ll enjoy structured recovery time, letting you recharge!

What we’re looking for:

We are looking for an experienced Emergency & Critical Care Veterinarian to join our team on a permanent full-time basis.

  • At least three years of general practice experience, or two years’ experience in Emergency & Critical Care.
  • A passion for mentorship, collaboration, teaching and advancing veterinary care in a supportive environment.
